updating life

Its been a while.. oh well its been ages since i put something here months ago. Well, am not hiding.. still around but a lil bit busy capturing life. I was travelling quite a bit.. tiring but enjoying every miles of it. Am losing weight (i hate it!!) due to my scope of work. Less sleep, social life, entertainment and love :( But lets make other people happy first, i know my time will come very soon. I am not complaining but i know GOD is fair. I feel blessed to being able to channel my creativity with the skills HE mould in me.. I may not be the best recipe.. but am improving my own mixture to become better and better..

I won't be updating here as frequent as before.. let say last time i did blog 2-3 times a day.. (used to) but now it may be 1 every 3 months?? Hmm..Time flies.. and i wonder where do the minute and hour go? Well, i guess it goes to here.

I am not actually a big fan of financial report, stock market and banking magazines. But now, it can sit beside my favourite genre of magazines.. 'Preferred' the collaboration magazine of CIMB Malaysia and Bank Niaga Indonesia can now sit beside my Digital Camera magazines collection :)

3 of my gamelan collections were featured in a section of this premiere issue 2008. It was no big deal.. but the DHL package i received this morning made me smile..

i was doing my late night assignment. Nothing interesting on tv. Mom was watching drama after another. I just need the sound of tv to keep me awake. Its 12 midnight, I was too lazy to go upstairs to switch chanels on astro. So there i was on 9tv watching the horniest lame classical movie.

I am a HUGE fan of P Ramlee's movie. But this movie drove me nutsss!!! This is the worst P Ramlee's movie I've ever watched. Sorry Tan Sri, I can totally accept your jokes in your comedy... but this is definitely a NO-GO. Sarimah were made to look kinky and horny in an innocent way. Tell me which malay movies show ladies in just panty and bra or sheer nighties walking in a room with horny dialogues?

It was all Dr Rusdi's fault that made me watch till the end.. say, no kudos for Dr Rusdi but thanks for making me stay awake!! lol.

i need a dose of...

ooh.. its been ages and ages since i posted any good mind stimulating blog. Yes, my previous post navigate you to my new blog so called blog.fatiniz.com. But i guess its mainly for business and show offs. hehhehhe... I can't be writing about who i hooked and make out with last night at the.. erm.. shall i disclose it here? hmm...

Life has been pretty hectic. I have basically no entertainment as i normally work my ass off during the weekends. And I do go out for movies if i don't have any jobs on weekends. I have less friends now.. i guess everyone seems to be complaining about it.. especially the single ones like me. My good, better, best, bestest friends are all married, with kids or atleast pregnant!

So i guess its time for us singles to flirt. ahahah... its been ages since i've been actively flirting. Did I? oh well.. so i guess its not wrong to flirt rather than concentrating too much on work and relationship matters.. sometimes. No?

lil hideout

Backpacking alone is not bad at all. Especially when you are a young single lady like moi! Why? hmm.. you'll know later. Well there's pros and cons but travelling alone is about meeting new faces and mingle around. When i decided to pack my bag, i had a very limited money, energy and zero expectation. I brought no food, no camping gear.. just a few clothes to keep me dry for a few days. Its more like go-with-the-flow kinda trip. So the best thing to do is to bring no other. just me! I need to be closer to the nature after a quite some time leaving my steps in a jungle. And Taman negara is a place i always wanted to go. So i guess i just have to trust my gut feelings and go.

But too bad, I am too tired to blog about this lil adventure of my journey now. More stories and photos coming soon. I need some manicure/pedicure and a massage now!

hashbrown and a glass of milk

lolly was meowing outside my door. It was 7.36am. I pulled and rolled myself in my warm blanket. damn it felt so good. I don't remember when was the last time i washed it. errr.. lolly shut up! I just want to enjoy the cool morning weather,the soft breeze and sleep in a bit. Lolly was not cooperating. Okay, okay you win lolly. She must be really hungry. I opened the door and she rushed in and jump into my bed. Oh, she just want to join me in bed. ok fine.. We slept in a bit.

Hashbrown and a glass of milk. Thats what i had this morning. last night. and yesterday for breakfast. and infact for the past one week! pathetic. who cares?? i just loove hashbrown.. because.. its potato! anything potato goes. I'm Miss Potata. Ok mom was away for hajj and left her lil girl alone. Ahahaha.. I am sill survived. Been cooking once or twice for lunch but sometimes i'm just too lazy to cook for one.

I'm logging off now. I will try to write again. Have not been active blogging but i've been thinking about it everyday. I guess i kinda lost the rythm. i miss you.. dear blog.

unfortunately my RED Ribbon exhibition is POSTPONED to next year. to my friends who has been waiting for this.. and asking me about the exhibition, i am so sorry for not informing it earlier but due to some problems on location and sponsor, it has to be postponed to a new date. Sorry friends, thanks for the support. I feel bad about it but I will keep it updated!

IE ruined my day.

I've been designing my website and learning while developing one is not a very smooth workflow. But i managed to learn image ready and wow, can't believe designing layout into html could be thiiis simple!

I am using mac and rarely use Internet Explorer (erm.. just recently installed IE 5 browser as i am very much satisfied with safari and mozilla) Yes, mozilla this and mozilla that for my search engine and testing platform.

As for a beginner in image ready and not a website developer as in career wise, i am quite satisfied with the look of www.fatiniz.com ON MOZILLA and SAFARI! Until one day, i visited friend's office and used her browser.. well, i had no choice but IEing stuffs. I was surprised to see how my page looked on IE. and most of my portfolio slides are not working the way i wanted it to be!!!! IE shucks!! (it should work as in slide transition rather than opening each images in another page!!!) but i guess i've got no choice but to redo it and make sure i test them on IE. And i feel sorry to those who still uses IE (i know a lot of them still do) You might want to consider a switch.. so peeps, mozilla it is!

My RED RIBBON Exhibition.

life has been tough and tougher for the past few weeks. New job is squeezing every bit of me. Time has never been this short. I am chased by datelines, client's deliverables and.. foremost..my first exhibition project with Nikon Malaysia in conjunction with World's AIDS day which is going to be held in December. I had sleepless nights, nightmares and hardwork of collecting materials and sketching ideas to be poured into this project. Friends .. sorry for my long silence.. I am tied up. I've never been this occupied my whole life. This is one important milestone in my life. The most awaited and dreamed thing that grows bigger and bigger in my bubble of dreams.

I shall not talk more about the exhibition. More updates from time to time. But i am driven, motivated, and anxious about it. As for now.. lets keep it low.. shhhh..

sad moment for lolly

it was a tough time for lolly and even tougher for me. A day before raya i decided to get lolly spayed. Sooner or later we are going to send her so why not now? I left lolly at the vet to the surgeon and it was a sad moment for me to hand her over to the operation room. She was calm and quiet as if she understands and accept that this might be the best for her.

The doc told me it might take 3 hours as this is lolly's first period cycle! damn, i didn't know female cats do have periods too! (will it bleed like us women? ahh... else they'd have to wear pads! how cute! ok, i'm talking shit now..)

At about 5pm i received a call from the surgeon and lolly was successfully spayed. Damn it cost me $275 + the vaccine. But its ok as i'd do my best for the best interest of her. Lolly's condition was sad enough to witness. Her long fur was shaved and the stitch is clearly exposed. The doc put an Elizabethan Collar around her neck to prevent her from scratching the wound and she was still under anaesthetic - semi conscious. I carried her and put her in the carrier and brought her home. She was damn weak! She can hardly open her eyes, so i let her sleep as much as she requires.

Its been 2 days, lolly is still in a very weak condition. She's not eating nor drinking. I am beginning to worry like mad. Tried to feed her food in small portion but she refused to. I am praying to GOD so my lil lolly will wake up healthy by tomorrow else i gotta send her again to the vet and get her dripped. :(

its mating season. she's horny and being grumpy. She started making weird noises and it put me awake the whole night! I didn't know handling one horny pussy is harder than i thought. Then we decided to send her to the vet to get neutered.
