i'm back!! i got my camera back.. i know it has to kitty subject again. being cameraless for a week made my creative brain freeze without idea. There's too much in mind. There's too much time spent on putting bits and pieces together. Yes, I am about to make a big decision but GOD knows.. in a mean time, here's a my 17th.

Last night i had a very bad dream. They say superstitiously its not good to share bad dreams with people. But today, i want to share my crazy dreams with you. Maybe it was the late night movie i watched before bed. Or maybe i was disturbed by the shocking news that people commit murders with no mercy these days. Sad to say, there is no single day on the news without any murder cases.

It was a tiring day.. or lazy is a better word to describe my day. Had a nice 6km morning run. I'm not physically tired due the run, but my body demanded the rest. Tried to do some work today to kill my guilt but my brain stops functioning so i decided to lie down and read something fun. I guess i was just restless.. or rest-less??!! i let the hormones speak for today..

tips: To ripen a banana faster, it should be put in a brown paper bag with an apple or tomato overnight.

There's a lot of cats around my neighborhood. I love to make cat counts during my morning jog. Some belongs to neighbors and most just strays. But surprisingly enough, the stray looks like other local strays but with longer hair.. talking about persion who escapes late night mating with strays.. they do produce good breeds too!

This squirrel must be scared outa shit but pretending cool. one hairy monster was watching (my cat, lolly) and i was just ready with my camera silently waiting for the right moment to snap. He looked in style planning his strategy. The front door was shut and there's no way out unless he passed us through and jump to the backdoor. This is one hella brave one. He jumped and run as fast as he can to the back door even lolly neither i could catch him. bravo!

1/365 | WALKING AWAY

i have always wanted to join the project365. A pool joined by flickr group members who are committed enough to post one photo a day to the pool. I have already registered in 2008 if i'm not mistaken but i wasn't discipline enough to shoot and upload everyday without fail. Hence, the project was a failure for me. This guy has inspired me again to rejoin the group. You can check his 365 journey here.

I have not uploaded images as much as i used to in flickr. Had my own sets of viewer before.. (yeah during the glorious years. lol) but that was back then. My flickr page is dull and lifeless now.

When your hobby becomes your fulltime job, you lost that sense of simplicity of life where simple big deal shots don't matter anymore. This is the lackness that i'm trying to gain back.. i want to shoot something that might not look important and make it important, in other word, start appreciating them again and start shooting crappy things again! i miss that a lot.

Lolly (my pussy) is not the greatest subject to shoot. She's lazy, not coorperating, dull and boring. I knew i couldn't get any decent shot of her. The moment i put her in frame, she walks away and left me out of focus. here's my first crappy shot of the day.. lets pray i will shoot something better tomorrow.

becoming a foodie?

I love to eat. But I don't have time to cook. I'm always keen in doing a simple cooking with beautiful garnish.

This is something I'm looking forward to do. Food photography. It looks easy, but its so damn tricky. To make food looks tempting is not as easy as pressing the shutter. But i took the challenge this time. Thanks to Attick Multimedia for giving me the opportunity.

We planned to hold it in a studio at first, but apparently we had to change location as my client told me the food needs to be cook and prepared. The photoshoot took place at my client's resident finally.

Again, i have expected the long hour and the tricky part. Photographing food is very technical. You have to consider the ambiance, considering for natural or artificial lighting and everything is manual. I know there's a lot more to learn.. I'm a newbie in this area but I'm loving it. This is something i want to do again and again. Not forgetting, we get to eat the food too! :)

Tresspassers will be prosecuted.

Male cats love coming over and check on lolly. I always chase them before they got the chance to pass by the gate! LOL. Stray cats don't dare to enter when i'm around. I don't like seeing them coming and loitering on our grass and leave some smelly 'gift' on it.

I hope this is not a sign of a possessive parent to be. No i'm not. I love freedom. As much as i don't like to be controlled by my parents, I hope i can be a good parents someday without over controlling my kids.

ok i guess i have to try to be a bit lenient to lolly. She needs friends too. Talking about parenthood, well i'm not a master of it. Not yet, atleast.

I was testing the lastolite kit i borrowed from a friend. I must say i LOVE this item. I HEART it! Its definitely gonna be on my next item in the list. Surprisingly enough, whats into lolly? She's been kind enough to sit motionless without scratching her butt (thats what she always do!) for more than 5 mins! Thats a great achievement. Good job lolly!
